At 2:10 am on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 our beautiful daughter entered the world. It was a wonderful moment filled with excitement and anticipation. She weighed 4 lbs, 10 oz and was 16 inches long.
She was immediately taken to the corner of the operating room where the high risk pediatric team was waiting for her. They cleaned her, wrapped her up and gave me a quick look at her. At that point we didn't know what she weighed but could tell that she was tiny and that she was beautiful! They took her immediately to the NICU to start her evaluations and get her cozy in her bed. Branden went with her and I stuck around to be sewn up :-)
Somehow in all the craziness we didn't get any pictures of her in the operating room. However, we do have these videos which might be a bit much for some and interesting to others. Watch at your discretion.
