Check him out!

Yep, that's our Benjamin on page 8 of the new Toys to Grow On catalog! This photo shoot was just a a few months ago but he looks so little (in my opinion). I was super proud of how well he listened and followed all of the directions given to him that day. He behaved like such a big boy for only being just barely 4 years old!

Benjamin the Bus Driver

If you get the chance to visit the Children's Museum at La Habra don't forget to pick up one of their brochures - you might just see someone you know.

Someone from their corporate office saw this picture of Benjamin on our blog and asked if they could use it in some museum literature. Of course I said yes, but had no idea he would be on the cover of their main brochure. It was pretty exciting to walk in to the museum and see his adorable picture staring right at us. Jack kept saying "Benjamin you are famous!" Benjamin felt super special.

Father's Day Fun!

This ad is currently running on the Lakeshore website

Photo shoots at Lakeshore are always so much fun! This little (big) guy sure loves promoting his Dad's work. Yes, if you were wondering that is Branden's hat, tie and sweater. He even had on Branden's shoes but they were cropped out. Speaking of being cropped out - Benjamin was actually in the shot as well but was cut out. It's an adorable picture and I will post it after the Father's Day promotion is over. We have chosen to NOT tell Benjamin he didn't make the ad :-) DIdn't really see a need to make him sad. Let's just see how long Jack can keep it to himself.

Oh no, I could be a stage mom!

Ok, not really but it is super fun when the boys get to do photo shoots at Lakeshore. Branden works there so it's a whole fun experience for them. They get to dress up and take pictures, see their dad during the day, see their dad's office and all his friends. They "earn" a gift certificate to the store and usually walk away with some small toy from Branden or one of his co-workers office.

So the boys went down this past Tuesday to do a photo shoot together. This was their first one together and it was ADORABLE!! It's so hard because I can't ever show the pictures (although I have seen them) until a decision has been made and they have been published on the web or in the catalog. This weeks shoot was for the web and was a Father's Day advertisement (so cute!). So, if their pictures are chosen I will post the link when it's up on the web in June or if they aren't chose I will post the pictures after Father's Day.

I remembered that Jack did a photo shoot last April that I was so excited about. It was a cover for a special holiday catalog. He wasn't chosen but I think it was super cute! We had to wait until after Christmas to share it and honestly I forgot until this week.

So, here it is - Jack's first (almost) magazine Cover!

I can't believe how little he looks. Would his cute face make you want to buy those dinosaurs?

Jack's photoshoot at Lakeshore

Last Monday Jack went in for 2 photo shoots at Lakeshore. He was SO excited when they called the previous week to see if he was available. They took pictures for an adorable dinosaur cover and this one for the web. We don't think he got the cover one, although I think it's absolutely adorable and will post it as soon as I get permission from Branden who gets me a sneak peek at the photo's. We got the e-mail tonight that he will be used for this web ad. He was SO proud of himself! We were very proud of him as well. It's not easy having several people give you directions about your head, hand, product, etc. while continuing to smile when you are only 4.

Benjamin's photo shoot at Lakeshore

According to Branden, the photographer decided to change the angle and the lighting so Benjamin wasn't chosen but they said he did a GREAT job! I was so proud of how he posed just liked they wanted, answered all their questions and was just super sweet. He received a $50 gift certificate to Lakeshore for his 20 minutes of "work" and of course a visit to daddy's office. Not too bad! I can't forget to mention that big brother Jack was a great helper by standing on the sidelines and not touching anything or making any unnecessary noise during the photo shoot. He said he was being "extra good" just in case they wanted to take his picture - so cute. Maybe next time.

Here's the picture from Ben's first photo shoot last year. What a difference. My baby is growing up! BTW - this one is in the current catalog :-)
